About this property

The dog-friendly Avisford Park Hotel is a quintessential Georgian manor house set on 89 acres of beautiful Sussex parkland between historic Chichester and Arundel. Ideally situated for a dog-friendly getaway between the South Downs and the stunning West Sussex coastline - your dog will have plenty of beaches and fabulous countryside to explore. With comfortable bedrooms and a charming restaurant with lovely views of the garden, the hotel also has a fitness centre, treatment rooms as well as an outdoor pool *Now closed until May 2023. Sporty dog-owners can also enjoy a round of golf at the golf club and there is also a tennis court and croquet lawn. Dog bowls and beds are available at no extra charge.

You can dine with your dog in the bar only, but you are still welcome to order food from the Cedar Restaurant and enjoy it in the bar area. The Cedar Restaurant is a former prep school where you can still see the names of all the former head boys engraved on the cedar wall panels; guests can dine on traditional dishes or al fresco taking in the stunning views of the hotel's grounds from the Terrace.

The Trundle (St Roche’s Hill) is located near Chichester and can be accessed using the South Downs National Park walking trails.
