The stunning location originally caught the eye of Frank Cook, grandson of renowned travel agent Thomas Cook, who, in 1905, constructed the Queen Anne-style mansion as a family home. Having been recently transformed, the hotel's interior has been beautifully modernised but still retains many of its original features, including the gorgeous summer house and tea house. Just a seven-minute walk to the Blackheath Common side of the glorious Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Barnett Hill offers a fantastic place of relaxation and a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding area with your canine companion.

Choose from the smaller comfy king rooms, the larger luxury king rooms or the truly beautiful spacious splendid attic suites. All are air conditioned and you’ll sleep on extremely comfortable handmade British double beds which promise a good night’s rest. Selected bedrooms feature a bathtub as well as a shower.
