About this property

Nestled in the heart of Kingsclere village, the dog-friendly Bel & The Dragon in Hampshire is a classic country inn that provides a wonderfully cosy getaway for you and your furry friend. Surrounded by the rolling hills of Hampshire, Bel & The Dragon makes the perfect base for a walking weekend away with your pet. As well as being surrounded by the gorgeous Hampshire countryside, Bel & The Dragon is only a 15-minute drive from the breathtaking Highclere castle – a must-visit for fans of the hit television programme Downton Abbey. Although dogs are not permitted in the castle and grounds, doggies can enjoy a wonderful stroll through the public footpath that runs through the park.

Dine with Your Dog

If you would like to dine with your dog, Bel & The Dragon can set you and your furry friend up in the smaller restaurant or bar. Offering a series of menus full of twists on classic British dishes, they use only the highest quality, local and sustainable produce. If you would rather dine alone, you may leave your pet in your room to relax.

Bow wow factor

All four-legged guests will be provided with a pet bed, treats, and bowls. There is also a lovely secure garden.
