Visit the adjacent Bodafon Farm Park, or take a stroll along the promenade to the town centre or Venue Cymru, where you can perhaps catch a visiting West End show. Shop till you drop or find a great restaurant or café. At the other end of town is the famous Great Orme’s Head, rising to 679ft above the town, with great views of the surrounding coastline – and on a clear day you can even see the Isle of Man! Visit 4000-year-old copper mines, the ski slope or toboggan run, ride the Great Orme Tramway or the longest cable car in Great Britain. Historic Conwy is just a few minutes by car and offers the mighty Edward I Conwy Castle and town walls (A World Heritage Site), Aberconwy House, Conwy Suspension Bridge (NT), Plas Mawr (Cadw), a wealth of quirky individual shops, and the quay where fresh fish is landed daily. The Conwy Valley takes you down towards Betws-y-Coed, the ‘gateway to Snowdonia’. On the way, call in at Bodnant Garden (NT) that is abundant with floral colour, or for a bit of foodie heaven, try the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre.
Stable Cottage can be booked with Scullery Cottage (ref CC613038) and Granary Cottage (CC613039) to accommodate up to six guests.
