About this property

Nestled on the outskirts of Boscastle at the edge of a 166-acre working farm, lies semi-detached bungalow, Boscastle View. Enjoying picturesque coastline and countryside vistas, this idyllic retreat welcomes families looking to break away from their normal routines and tour the north coast of Cornwall. Enter into the porch where you can pop off your walking boots and hang your jackets before finding the sitting room. Sink into the sofa before the homely open fire, thinking about where to go next, you can certainly see yourself winding down here following an action-packed day. Enjoy a good range of appliances within the kitchen, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, with country style touches throughout adding character. There are three bedrooms at this Boscastle cottage; the family room houses a double and single bed with en-suite shower, whilst there is also a double with en-suite shower and a twin, providing an ideal family setup. Each room has been well-furnished to ensure ample storage space for your personal things. Sit out within the enclosed lawn, sipping on a favourite drink as the sun basks down, all whilst the little ones and pooch play on the grass. Situated just a five minute stroll of the Coast Path, this is an excellent choice for the avid walkers; follow the path along to Tintagel Castle to visit the iconic 12th century ruins, set high on Cornwall’s rugged north coast, before swooping down to explore Merlin’s Cave, believed to once have been the home to Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian legend. Within two miles you can find a convenience store for any supplies, along with a good selection of pubs and restaurants in Boscastle, perfect if you fancy a night off cooking. If exploration takes you further afield, explore the lovely cliff and wooded-valley walks, or if you fancy a day at the beach then Bossiney and Trebarwith Strand are just a short drive away. With quaint villages such as Port Isaac and Camelford within easy reach, Boscastle View makes an excellent getaway, all-year-round.
