This charming, detached Cornish cottage overlooks magnificent coastline with Pendeen lighthouse in the distance. The ground floor of the cottage has an open plan living space and a family bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds. Moving outside is a large lawned garden ideal for dining al fresco or simply enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Set on an ancient site, in a peaceful hamlet designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the adjacent area was granted World Heritage status in 2006.
A truly cosy, peaceful holiday retreat, ideal for walkers with direct access to the spectacular coastal path. Superb walks, old mining and historical sites, art galleries, excellent pubs, local shop and good places to eat are all within easy reach. The cottage sits in a lovely garden with natural Cornish stone hedges and views over dramatic coast.
Situated on the south tip of the north west coast of Cornwall, not far from Land’s End, there are many, many places to visit. Lanhydrock House, now owned by the National Trust, is a magnificent example of a period country house which is well worth a visit as are its stunning well-tended gardens.
Mousehole on the south coast is a pretty harbourside village and fishing port and should not be missed.
Marazion is a little further east and gives access to St Michael’s Mount, about ½ mile across a tidal causeway. It is a fascinating island and worthy of visit.
No visit to Cornwall would be complete with visiting the world famous Eden Project. Shop and pub ¼ mile.
