Bedroom 2: With bunk beds.. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. . Situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, Briddicott Farm Cottage is located close to the medieval village of Dunster, with its famous castle, deer park and mill. This cosy holiday cottage with a wood burner offers a real working farm experience, being located within a busy working farm on MHPF Estate. There are various pens and barns with cattle all around the cottage - glance out of the bedroom windows and watch sheep grazing on the rolling hills! In the lawned front garden, there is a sitting-out area – the ideal spot to enjoy al fresco dining or a drink on a balmy evening and enjoy distant views of the Somerset coast. There is superb walking with many footpaths leading to either the South West Coastal Path or the heathlands and forests of the Dunster woodland and Exmoor National Park. Other places to visit are the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton which are famous for the Watersmeet Gorge, National Trust, the Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. The West Somerset Railway is great for steam train lovers! There are beaches at Porlock and Dunster. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.
