About this property
St Teath 0.6 miles. This detached, ground floor modern lodge is situated on a small quiet site, looking out onto the central green and backed by trees, on the outskirts of St Teath in North Cornwall. This St Teath lodge provides an ideal base for a group of four who wish to stay in a peaceful retreat, and the owners, who live next door, ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and are usually on hand to provide help if needed. This lodge near Port Isaac catches the sun all day long and so the open plan living space, and the sunny decked area it leads onto, are both pleasant places to sit and relax, especially after a day exploring the sights. There are plenty of places to walk the dog, and the local village pub is a short walk along Cornish lanes bordered by pretty banks of wild flowers. St Teath is only a few miles from the beautiful beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath, one of the safest beaches along this stretch of coastline. The fishing village of Port Isaac, which was used as the setting for the TV series, Doc Martin, and Tintagel with its Arthurian legend links, are also both a short drive away. There are some fabulous sub-tropical gardens in this area of Cornwall, and the famous Eden Project, a must visit, is within reach. A wonderful holiday base, guests staying at this St Teath lodge will have plenty to see and do!
