Overview

Dinney Farm Holiday Cottages is a family-operated enterprise with a rich history spanning over 30 years. Originally functioning as a dairy farm, Cart, Duck, and Drake Cottages underwent conversion from a substantial tithe barn in the 1990s. In response to the evolving needs of our guests, two electric vehicle charging points have been installed.

The cottages are set amidst 150 acres of private farmland, offering guests the delightful sight of sheep, cattle, and horses grazing throughout the year. The grounds are also home to a variety of hens and ducks freely exploring the surroundings. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed in the cottages, with walks, bridleways, and a cycle route accessible right from the doorstep.

Cart Cottage, accommodating up to 6 guests, has undergone a charming conversion from a spacious tithe barn, preserving its original oak beams and robust trusses. Adorned in a traditional style, the cottage provides expansive family accommodation comprising two twin-bedded rooms and one double room that can be configured as either a queen-size bed or two single beds.

A delightful feature of Cart Cottage is its enclosed south-facing patio, offering picturesque views of Chelmarsh Reservoir. This space becomes an ideal setting for warm summer BBQ evenings, providing a serene backdrop for observing wildlife on the water.

The outdoor area boasts an enclosed south-facing patio with waterside views, exclusive use garden furniture, and a BBQ for your enjoyment. Other amenities include free WIFI, a warm welcome to dogs, ample parking, and immediate access to walks, bridleways, and a cycle route right at your doorstep. Additionally, DVDs, maps, and games are provided to enhance your stay.

You'll have footpaths running right of the door step for the perfect and most scenic dog walks. There is also a dog friendly pub just a short walk away.

Surrounding us are an array of footpaths, bridleways, and cycle routes right at our doorstep. The renowned Jack Mytton Way and National Cycle Route 45 even pass directly by our door! The Dinney offers an ideal location, creating a secure retreat for families.
