Alternatively, you can drive over to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway to embark on a train ride and potter up to Lakeside and enjoy the Aquarium or steam further up Lake Windermere to explore Bowness-on-Windermere or Ambleside. At the end of the day, relax back at this superb lodge with the wonderful hot tub and luxurious accommodation. A great base for families or friends at any time of the year.
