Cedar Lodge is a large modern lodge situated in the Langdale area of White Cross Bay. It benefits from an end of cul-de-sac position and is close to all the clubhouse facilities. Sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms plus an infant in a travel cot, this lodge is perfect for families or couples looking for a relaxing break in the Lake District. and also welcomes two dogs. Cedar Lodge has its own private hot tub, positioned on the large decking area surrounding the lodge. There is also outdoor seating on the deck so can dine al-fresco on a summer evening. Inside the lodge you have a beautiful living/dining area where you can relax and socialise with games or a movie. The kitchen is separated with a partition wall and is fully equipped so you can make some delicious meals. Further down the hall you will find the family bathroom and three bedrooms, one with an en-suite. Cedar Lodge is fantastic for a family get away and sees its guests return year after year. On the Park itself, there is a bar and restaurant with outdoor seating area for dogs, picnic area and children’ play zone. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, entertainment, bar and restaurant. You’re also just two miles from the charming Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness boat landings, where the elegant cruisers come in and you can hop on a boat trip. Ambleside is three miles in the other directio, another beautiful town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, fabulous walks in every direction. A wonderful place to make special memories with your loved ones.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip.
