The coastal road passes through many villages with good pubs, farm shops, and cafés for great fresh and locally sourced food. The livelier seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer are 9 and 12 miles respectively. Holkham Hall and Holkham beach are 12½ miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea with its working fishing harbour, town and sandy beach, is 11 miles.
The National Trust properties of Felbrigg and Blicking Halls offer much to do and see, whilst the pretty gardens and space of Sheringham Park offer a great day out.
