Cossington Park House is an elegant period English home and luxury holiday cottage with lots of space for you and your guests to enjoy a relaxing stay or special celebration in the beautiful Somerset countryside. For parties of up to 12 adults and 7 children/infants. Owned by one family for 400 years, Cossington Park Estate, which today comprises this historic house and luxury holiday cottage, has antique furniture, family paintings and real log fires and is set in 22 acres of wonderful gardens and grounds.

Cossington Park House is a stunning home that is full of antiques and family portraits and history going back 400 years. There are 5000 books and extensive rooms and corners in which to read them. The library Dining Room can take up to 30 people and the Old farmhouse-style Kitchen, plus adjoining Breakfast Room, Scullery and Pantry, are superbly equipped. There are six beautifully decorated bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus Pooh’s Corner, a large landing area with two sofa beds. Cossington Park House accommodates 12 adults and up to 7 children and infants in a variety of sofa beds, folding beds and cots. Many of the rooms open onto or look over the extensive and beautifully manicured main gardens of the Cossington Park Estate.

You will be welcomed with a wonderful hamper that includes delicious local produce, while food deliveries for your stay can be arranged. Cooks in your party will be delighted by the facilities. Park House has the Old Kitchen, Scullery, Pantry Breakfast Room and Larder Laundry which interconnect and provide extensive storage for supplies, more fridge space than you could dream of, and comprehensive cooking equipment including a large range electric cooker, a combo microwave/electric oven, two dishwashers and extensive china, cutlery and glassware. The Library dining room is a period room that opens onto the main gardens and is a wonderful setting for formal dinner parties up to 30 people, perfect for a large family gathering! For those who prefer their holiday to be undisturbed by cooking duties, catering can be arranged.
