About this property

This is a spacious semi-detached bungalow, situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in a slightly elevated position, just a short walk from the seaside village of Deganwy with its marina and railway station. With a small selection of independent shops and various places to eat, and Llandudno and Conwy just a couple of miles away, this cottage is a perfect base for families or friends looking to make the most of the stunning North Wales coastline. This delightful bungalow is deceptive in its appearance and offers spacious accommodation once inside. Underfloor heating to most of the downstairs ensures a warm and welcoming ambience from the moment you arrive, and helps maintain an even temperature throughout. The inviting and airy sitting room has the welcome addition of a cosy electric coal-effect fire, making it a lovely place to relax in after a day’s exploring, sit back and watch a film together or plan the next day’s activities. Prepare wonderful family meals in the modern and well-equipped kitchen, which provides everything you may need, extending into a TV room with more comfy seating and patio doors leading to an enclosed block paved patio area, a perfect place to relax with a morning cup of coffee. This space is a great area for socialising and entertaining, or on a warm summer’s evening throw open the patio doors and dine alfresco. Alternatively there is a lovely dining room where you can all sit and eat comfortably. Two of the three bedrooms are on the ground floor, a twin and a double which benefits from en-suite facilities, whilst the third bedroom is located on the first floor, in the eaves of the cottage boasting a king-size bed; each room is individually styled and decorated and very well appointed. Outside, in addition to the rear courtyard there is plenty of parking and a front open plan garden area which is well tended and laid to lawn. This cottage provides the perfect base as families and friends will be spoilt for choice with the fabulous array of things to do and see in the immediate area and slightly further afield. If your holiday is all about taking it easy then why not visit Llandudno where you can stroll along its Victorian pier and promenade or take the Great Orme tramway or cable car to the summit and enjoy some of the most spectacular views of this beautiful coastline. For something a little different visit the majestic medieval town of Conwy with its medieval castle and attractive harbour, also home to the Smallest House in Britain. The Snowdonia National Park, Llyn Peninsula and the wonderful Isle of Anglesey are all within easy reach too, offering endless opportunities for exciting days out. This lovely bungalow provides an ideal base for a holiday discovering North Wales, all year long.

The village of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a harbour, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. A wonderful base for exploring the wonders of North Wales!
