Location & Local Attractions
Beacon Fell country park is a lovely area for short walks, particularly with dogs as there are no sheep to worry about. There are great views across to Bleasdale, Parlick and Fairsnape fells and also east to Pendle. You could also take the Nicky Nook Circular walk which is a 5.8 kilometer loop trail located near Preston that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. You can also take your dog to walk the grounds of nearby Samlesbury Hall.
