About this property

Set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, dog-friendly East Haugh House Hotel in Scotland is a beautiful 17th-century stone house that has been transformed into a boutique family-run hotel that makes a wonderful base for a fabulous Highland break with your hound. History buffs will be pleased to find that East Haugh is surrounded by some of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks – Balmoral, St Andrews, Stirling and Glamis Castle are all within an hour and a half’s drive from the hotel. And for our four-legged friends, they can enjoy an abundance of woodland walks and riverside rambles.

Dine with Your Dog

You can leave your pet in the room while you dine at East Haugh’s in-house restaurant – a culinary delight run by award-winning Chef Patron, Neil McGown. All ingredients are locally sourced where possible and everything is freshly cooked to order – you can taste the team’s passion in every bite! If you fancy dining elsewhere, we recommend dog-friendly pub McKays in Pitlochry which is only a five-minute drive from the hotel.

Bow wow factor

Has to be East Haugh House’s fantastic location – which provides a wealth of stunning walks nearby.

Bedrooms & Suites

Three of East Haugh House’s 12 bedrooms are dog-friendly, all of which are ground floor so your pet has easy access to the garden. The gorgeous Victorian lodge within in the grounds of the hotel is also dog-friendly and is ideal if you prefer some extra privacy during your stay. Each of the bedrooms, including the lodge, have been individually designed with small nods to East Haugh’s Scottish heritage including touches of tartan and antique furniture.

Dog-Friendly Nearby

East Haugh’s location really is ideal – close to Balmoral, Pitlochry, St Andrews, Stirling and Glamis Castle - you have many beautiful parts of Scotland to explore.
