Ewenny is just two miles from Ogmore-by-Sea beach (dog friendly) and Southerndown beach and local pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and shops are all within easy reach by car, foot or bicycle. With Cardiff, Penarth and Cowbridge, the famous market town, to the east and Porthcawl, Swansea and The Mumbles (the Gateway to The Gower) to the west, there is a wealth of attractions for all the family to enjoy. Ewenny is the perfect destination for rambling, cycling, horse-riding on the beach, surfing (Rest Bay Watersports Centre is 5 miles away) and golfing with Celtic Manor and the Millennium Stadium less than an hour away. As you enter the front door, there is a twin bedroom, a bathroom and a spacious sitting room with an open fire for cosy nights in. Large patio doors lead through to the garden with a beautiful alfresco area for warm summer evenings. The sunny dining room leads to a galley kitchen which overlooks the garden . Upstairs there is a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a single bed next door to a pretty children’s room with a bunk bed and an extra mattress if needed. A bathroom/shower room completes the picture. For over 50 years the owners of this cottage have enjoyed family holidays to Ewenny so it holds a very special place in their hearts and they would love to share this very magical part of the world with you.

A stunning county borough in South Wales lined with beautiful stone buildings, history and everything else you could wish for in a Welsh holiday destination. It has a busy town centre full of quiant individual shops, cafes and resraurants. As well as an area of beauty, Bridgend has a range of shopping centres. It is home to some notable music bands such as Bullet for my Valentine, Lostprophets and The Automatic. The capital Cardiff lies less than 20 miles east of Bridgend, with the other big Welsh city Swansea 20 miles in the opposite direction. Bridgend train station has regular services to Cardiff Central, Bristol Parkway and London Paddington.
