Nestled on the banks of the River Cam, in Cambridge’s historic centre, the dog-friendly Graduate Cambridge is an idyllic retreat that feels like an extension of the university, with design nods to college architecture, crests and discoveries like the DNA double helix. Ideal for a dog-friendly getaway there are wonderful walks along the river where you can watch the punts glide by and even have the chance to take a guided punt with your best furry friend by your side as well as country parks close by. You can also explore the plethora of dog-friendly shops, restaurants, cafés and bars all within walking distance. Unrivalled views, seasonal culinary fayre at Garden House and a cosy bar where you can dine with your dog in the centre of the hotel are just a few of the things that make Graduate Cambridge special.

Dine with Your Dog

You can dine with your dog in the Garden Bar which offers relaxed dining and a broad range of bespoke and classic cocktails, wines and specialty beers. Its all-day menu led by Executive Chef Adam Wood includes seasonal dishes cooked over fire designed for sharing. When the sun is shining, you can dine al fresco with your dog in the riverside Garden and watch the punts glide by while you enjoy a cocktail or two. If you fancy eating at Garden House then you are welcome to leave your dog in your room. The Garden House Restaurant is closed on Mondays, and closes at 6pm on Sundays.

Bow wow factor

Dog-Friendly Nearby

A trip to Cambridge is not complete without visiting some of its iconic green spaces including Parker’s Piece and Jesus Green. Next to the River Cam, it is a lovely place to enjoy a walk with your dog off the lead. Milton Country Park is another fantastic place for dog walking with 95 acres for them to play, a visitors centre and cafe. Also visit Stourbridge Common - a local nature reserve as well as Barnwell Country Park which has 37 acres including lakes and meadows.
