About this property

This detached holiday home is in a slightly elevated position on the outskirts of Llanaber, near Barmouth and commands spectacular sea views over the Cambrian Bay coastline. Bright, spacious and clean living rooms and large bedrooms, combined with a brilliant coastal location make this cottage the perfect family getaway. Hendre Wylan boasts a well presented interior with soft fabrics and neutral décor in whites, creams, blues and greys, all befitting for a seaside holiday, with sea views enjoyed for most rooms. The sitting room has an amazing sea view, where on those warm summer evenings you can open up the patio doors to enjoy the fresh sea air. A second sitting room/games room is bound to be a favourite with children, a large TV with games console, a selection of games, board games and DVDs are sure to help the adults have a quiet 10 minutes after a hectic day of sightseeing and building sand castles! The kitchen with dining area is a great space to enjoy family meals together. The dining area has a large solid wood dining table with matching chairs and the kitchen is sleek, well-appointed and modern ensuring the cook of the family is happy and content. Finally, on the ground floor, a convenient utility room and cloakroom. On the first floor, there are five beautifully furnished and individually styled bedrooms upstairs, with the master boasting the addition of an en-suite shower room. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over as well as a toilet and basin. There’s plenty of outside seating at Hendre Wylan, at the rear there is a small rear garden but it’s at the front you'll spend most of your time, either on the raised patio area or front facing lawn, taking in the sea air and views, watching the sun ark across the sky dipping over the horizon, the perfect ending to a busy day. The popular seaside town of Barmouth is a couple of miles to the south, just about walking distance if you fancy stretching your legs one evening. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from in the town as well as the usual selection of seaside shops and attractions. There are naturally lots of walks in the area, many of which can be accessed right from the cottage. Circular routes such as the Panorama Walk and the Precipice Walk are a short drive away as are the higher peaks of Cader Idris, the Rhinog Mountains and of course, Mount Snowdon. This welcoming Llanaber cottage is an excellent base from which to enjoy this renowned coastline and fabulous surrounding countryside, which is famous for its hill and coastal walks, wonderful beaches, water sports, golf, the medieval castle at Harlech and the beautiful Snowdonia mountains. A lovely cottage, perfect for an all year round family holiday.
