This detached, architect-designed holiday house sits in one of the most enviable positions in Newquay with uninterrupted views across the Gannel Estuary – a haven for wildlife, a water sport enthusiasts dream and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property has its own indoor, heated swimming pool which is located on the lower ground floor. The views across the water to the green hills of Crantock are stunning and the footpath that hugs the shoreline can be accessed through the garden gate at the bottom of the well-tended gardens.
An old bridge crosses the tidal sands to the village of Crantock. Walks, crabbing, kayaking, horse riding, stand-up paddle boarding and windsurfing can all be enjoyed on the Gannel, most of which are available to hire locally. A local tip is to stroll along the Gannel to one of Newquay’s oldest and original cafés to enjoy crab sandwiches and a pot of tea, overlooking the beach out to the sea. Newquay with its surf and beach culture is a short walk and has many restaurants, shopping, a zoo, leisure centre, swimming pools and a working harbour, where you can take to the sea on one of the many fishing boats and hopefully catch the evening’s dinner!
