A perfect base for exploring the New Forest with lots of wonderful trails for walks with your best furry friend in and around the hotel. There's the Linwood and Ellingham New Forest National Park walk and The Burley ad Shappen Hill walk - a circular walk across a beautiful section of heathland within the New Forest starting from the village of Burley. Roaming with the famous New Forest ponies you'll follow the paths through the heath alongside Shappen Bottom before following a short section of an old railway and then returning via Shappen Hill. There are no stiles or gates and the climbs and descents are all quite gentle.
