Located down a quiet lane just off the main coastal road, on the edge of the village of Cley-next-the-Sea, this brick and flint cottage is full of character. With plenty of space to join together, the spacious kitchen/dining room features bi-folding doors opening to the large patio, where you’ll find a bubbling private hot tub. There is a separate snug with a further TV and wood burner, the perfect place for some privacy to relax and unwind.
The local area has some excellent bird watching opportunities, and walking and cycling can be enjoyed directly from the doorstep. Cley-next-the-Sea is just a 10-minute walk away and is home to award-winning cafés, tea rooms, smoked fish house, windmill, art galleries and a pub serving good food. There is a shingle beach which can be accessed by footpath, and an eco-friendly visitor centre with a cafe, shop and information about the birds and wildlife of the salt marshes. Blakeney Quay is a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. Walkers and cyclists will find an abundance of picturesque coastal routes right on the doorstep, and having worked up an appetite, you will be delighted to discover North Norfolk’s emerging ’foodie’ reputation. Sandy beach 8½ miles, Cley beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
