Ideally placed for exploring the area, with historic Caernarfon within easy reach, and just over the water, the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, home of stately Plas Newydd and the little village Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysiliogogogoch. No visit to this part of the world would be complete without a trip to the summit of Snowdon, from Llanberis you can catch the train or start the walk. Visit the fascinating Electric Mountain and Welsh Slate Museum. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
