Set in the heart of Sussex's serene countryside, Lordington Park is a luxury country house B&B, perfect for a dog-friendly Sussex escape. This family run, hidden gem is ideally situated in 30 acres of parkland for your pet to play and is nestled in the South Downs National Park with direct access to the footpaths across the Downs as well as its own designated field for your dog to run off the lead. Super dog-friendly - dogs are not just accommodated; they are celebrated.

The property offers 14 individually styled boutique bedrooms within the house and three self catered cottages that cater to both human and canine guests, ensuring that every member of the family enjoys a comfortable stay. The decor is a harmonious blend of classic elegance and modern comfort, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast with your best furry friend by your side, with locally sourced ingredients including Lordington's own eggs. Whilst lunch and dinner are not available at the hotel, you can visit nearby dog-friendly pubs serving delicious food situated in charming local villages. Goodwood Racecourse, Midhurst, West Wittering beach, Emsworth, Bosham and Chichester are also close by.

At Lordington Park B&B, convenience meets tranquillity with their self-check in system. The reception is not always manned, though staff are on site during the day. Before your arrival, you'll receive an email detailing the check-in instructions, setting you up for a wonderful stay.

The wooftastic welcome along with the fabulous grounds - a playground for pets, access to the South Downs and with West Wittering beach nearby makes this a great doggie getaway.

Whether it’s a spacious dog-friendly room with a view in the main house, individually styled, complete with luxurious Hypnos mattresses, or a charming, cosy self-catering cottage away from the house, there are a variety of options for you to choose from. Drift off as you relax into gorgeous Egyptian cotton bedding with each of the rooms having spacious and private en-suite bathrooms as well as bed, bowl, towel and treats for your dog. There are three charming dog-friendly self-catering cottages set away from the house, designed for those would like a little more privacy, which sleep from 2 to a family of 7. These cottages have been recently converted and contain everything you need for a self-sustaining stay. With local farm shops less than a 5 minute drive away, you can stock up ready to enjoy your time at Lordington Park.

Dine with Your Dog

Whilst the B&B does not have a restaurant, they do offer a tasty breakfast and there are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants close by. You can have breakfast with your dog in the lounge area or on the patio weather permitting. Lordington serves the most delicious breakfasts - mostly derived from local suppliers which includes bacon from Adsdean less than 2 miles away, sausages from Treagust Butchers and Lordington eggs from their own rescue hens as well as hand grown delicious tomatoes.
