The dog-friendly Mitre is a refined yet relaxed boutique hotel on the banks of the River Thames next to Hampton Court Palace. Having been built in 1665 under the direction of Charles II as a hostel for visitors to Hampton Palace it has recently undergone an extensive and swish makeover and has been transformed into a super stylish, luxurious hotel. The style of the hotel is country house mixed with a boating theme. There are nine beautifully decorated dog friendly rooms on the ground floor with very convenient courtyard access. Beds, bowls, treats and toys are also on hand to ensure a wooftastic welcome. With fabulous river walks on the doorstep as well as Royal Parks and boat trips - your pooch will have plenty of fun. There's also two stunning restaurants and bars - vibrant and stylish places and you can hang out with your hound in the Coppernose, Orangery and Terraces. Hampton Court Palace with its dog-friendly gardens is just a short stroll away.
