For those that like to explore on foot, there are good walks from the door, plus cycle routes throughout the area. Explore the nearby Lincolnshire Wolds with its many country pubs to stop and take refreshment, or visit Market Rasen racecourse for a day out. Lincoln is less than 30-minute drive away and is well-known for its cathedral, castle with the Magna Carta visitors’ centre, as well as a huge range of shops and entertainment for all the family. The local pub is a short drive or a 2½-mile stroll away. Stabling and turnout is available by arrangement with the owners with a ménage also available if required. Spa days and outdoor activities including clay pigeon shooting, and motorised activities are available on site by prior arrangement with the owners. Spa days are available at extra cost.
