Nutbeam Cottage is a former, converted duck hatchery on a farm in the Cotswolds. The farmhouse and the grounds used to be a monastery and there is lots of history to the property. It is a grade II listed cottage in traditional Cotswold stone and tiled roof. It is in a peaceful, relaxing valley with countryside all around, yet only 4 miles from the roman capital of the Cotswolds, Cirencester.
The property has a large, fully enclosed garden, gravelled patio area and hot tub from the beginning of May, ample free parking. Inside the cottage you will find 2 bedrooms that can either be configured as superking beds or as 2 singles. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a walk in shower and the other with a separate bath and walk in shower. There is a cosy living room with log burner, Smart TV and seating/dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer (note there is no dishwasher, but the view from the window where you will wash the dishes will have you mesmerised that it will be a pleasure to do the dishes!).
You are staying on a working farm so will see horses, sheep and dogs. The farmer and his family live on the farm but keep themselves to themselves. We are dog friendly and allow 1 dog (2 with prior discussion). Wifi is fibre and is excellent if you need to work from home, but you may need to switch to wifi calling to receive calls if your mobile network doesn't get coverage.
