About this property

Situated within the coastal village of Porthtowan this ground floor apartment is just paces from the award winning beach popular for swimming, surfing and sandcastles. Offshore forms part of a small development on a no-through road that leads to the beach. The accommodation is on one level with nine steps down to the front door. Open plan living area and dining area with well equipped kitchen and 34" TV. There is a double bedroom and another bedroom with a 4ft bed and a single upper bunk. Both rooms have wall mounted TV's. The family shower room has a walk in shower, basin and WC. There is a sun deck, leading from the double doors in the sitting area, which is perfect for relaxation and barbecues. Porthtowan is a lively community which has a deli, a small supermarket and pubs for all your refreshment needs. The children's playground at the head of the beach will keep the little ones entertained too. Enjoy lunch in the seaward facing Blue Bar, the much favoured après-surf café. Spectacular sunset views across the ocean make a rewarding reason to linger with a nibble or tipple. At low tide, you can walk to the equally superb Chapel Porth Beach or venture along the clifftop footpath, eastbound to St Agnes or westwards to Portreath. Further up the north Atlantic coastline are Trevaunance Cove, Newquay and Watergate Bay, with Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' restaurant. Breathtaking Land's End is a worthy destination. Stop off at picturesque St Ives and browse the quirky boutiques, gift shops and art galleries. Falmouth is a 30 minute drive away, with Maritime Museum and historic Pendennis Castle ready for exploration. Offshore is light and airy with coastal inspired décor, a must stay for families, friends, surfers and couples after a relaxing or active holiday
