If you can tear yourself away from your tranquil setting, head towards the market town of Corwen, just six miles away, where you will discover picturesque walking trails in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as a wonderful selection of cafés, pubs and restaurants, traditional butchers, bakery and greengrocers for all of your necessities. Enjoy days out on the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway, where you can appreciate the wonderful views from the comfort of your seat or take a horse-drawn canal boat ride to visit Britain’s largest aqueduct, Pontcysyllte. Nearby, you will also find the magnificent National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig.
