Nods to its historic past can still be seen from the moment you step inside. Look up, and you will notice the ornate ceilings; each of the four suites has been decorated in keeping with the period of the house, using carefully selected wallpapers and luxury finishings.

There is ample space to unwind when staying at this dog-friendly B&B. Head to the library and marvel at the bookcases filled with books from the 18th to the 21st century, or relax in front of the self-playing piano in the drawing room. When the sun is shining, the French doors open onto a wonderful terrace leading down to the romantic water gardens. What Your Dog Can Expect At This Dog-Friendly B&B

Dogs are welcomed as part of the family at this pet-friendly B&B! During the renovation process, furry friends were always kept in mind, with special features including a luxury dog 'Groom Room'. On arrival, you can expect a welcome pack for all canine guests, plus a complimentary dog bed, bowl, towel and toys to use during your stay. If you need pet-sitting services, this can be arranged on request. During the summer, the owners will also provide some agility equipment for you to have fun with your dogs off-lead. For pups who love to splash about, you'll find a beautiful Victorian water garden with a series of small pools ending in a large deep pond that will soon be restored to its original purpose as a natural swimming pool.

Outdoor adventure of any kind is never far away when staying at this dog-friendly Wales B&B. Be sure to seek out the enchanting waterfall in the nearby woodland of the B&B! Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is just a few miles, and there are plenty of dog walks just moments from the property. Looking for somewhere to eat or grab a drink? Many of the local restaurants and pubs are dog-friendly, (even in the evenings), but if you want to dine without your dog, Plas Llangoedmor will look after your pooch while you are away for dinner.

Bedrooms & Suites

There are four dog-friendly rooms and suites, each with its own unique character and style. These rooms have free fibre Wi-Fi, Smart TVs with Freeview and access to Netflix (provided you have an account), a hairdryer, and a mini-fridge for any raw doggie food. There is also a coffee machine and kettle with a range of teas and coffee pods provided, as well as a well-stocked welcome fridge. You'll have the comfort of luxury linen and towels, premium toiletries, and plush bathrobes. Additionally, an iron and ironing board are available on request, and you can ask for phone chargers or adaptors if needed.

Lloyd Suite

2 night minimum stay - 4 night max stay - Named after one of the oldest families of Plas Llangoedmor (1550-1741), the Lloyd Suite is a spacious and beautiful room featuring exposed Tudor timber A Frames that have protected the building over the centuries. Offering views over the rear of the property to the Kitchen Garden and fields, it is complete with a luxury Super King bed ('And So To Bed' antique-style French bed), a complete lounge suite, antiques, and fine art. Decorated with Designers Guild paper, fabric, silk rugs, and Welsh wool throws, it exudes elegance and comfort. Guests have exclusive use of the top floor of the house, including a superior ensuite with underfloor heating, a Victorian-style freestanding shower temple with Hammam-style water jets and treatments. The Lloyd Suite bathroom also features a Burlington roll-top bath and comes with luxury touches, including a well-stocked welcome fridge. 2 night minimum stay - 4 night max stay - The Millingchamp Suite is named and decorated in honour of the Millingchamp family, 18th-century explorers who introduced exotic touches to Plas Llangoedmor. The wallpaper, colours, and décor (paper and fabric by Matthew Williamson) were carefully chosen to match a fragment of original paper found behind a false wall. The room also incorporates Art Deco elements, referencing the 1920s when the house was last used for grand entertaining. A party guest named Gwenda left her mark by scratching her name and the year 1927 into the window glass—see if you can spot her signature! This room features a beautiful original marble fireplace and a bay window with working shutters. The view is superb, overlooking the water gardens and the distant Preseli Hills. The Millingchamp Suite includes a luxury Super King-sized bed from the 'And So To Bed' signature Dickens collection. Covering 40m² (430 sqft), the room is adorned with antiques and fine art and includes two seating areas for relaxation. The bathroom has underfloor heating and a fabulous freestanding roll-top bath with a Victorian-style nickel shower cage. The awe-inspiring ensuite, converted from the family nursery, often elicits a 'wow' reaction due to its scale and opulence. The wallpaper, 'Hummingbird' by Cole & Son, is a handmade block print dating back to the 18th century, used in its original archived colourway. The bird theme continues through Victorian prints and the carved woodwork of the antique King Size tester four-poster bed, a rare find that accommodates a modern King-sized luxury mattress. The room's opulent gold and cream décor creates a calming and restful ambiance. Dine with Your Dog

Each morning you will enjoy a fabulous Welsh breakfast, using only the finest fresh local seasonal produce and, when available, home-grown ingredients. One of the owners of Plas Llangoedmor, has a claim to culinary fame having won ‘Young Cook of Great Britain’, judged Junior MasterChef and written for the Good Food Guide. Dogs are welcome to join you in the dining room. Also coming soon is Pete's Pub, the resident’s pub which will be found in a room with an enormous Tudor fireplace for spit roasting. This part of the building was once a butchery room and you’ll see the original meat hooks in the ceiling.
