The Pousada Convento de Arraiolos, is a dog-friendly hotel converted from a 16C convent located in the village of Arraiolos, in the region of Alentejo. Arraiolos is world-renowned for its carpets, which are considered cultural heritage and unique in the world. As well as lovely trails to walk with your dog,the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sunny terraces and panoramic views over the Alentejo plains, and an indoor swimming pool in which to relax on a chilly autumn or winter day. You can also make the most of your spare time by playing a game of tennis, walk with your dog in the Alentejo countryside or opt for a relaxing massage. The rooms in the new wing are designed in straight lines, inviting meditation, with views of the countryside. Adapted to the comfort of modern times, the superior rooms have views over the Alentejo valley while those in the old wing look over the farmyard or the countryside and beyond. You can leave your dog in the room while you enjoy dining in the restaurant with its local specialties and international drinks. You can also choose to dine in several outdoor spaces too.
