The country inn offers five en-suite bedrooms and three cottages providing comfort and cosy country style with modern touches which include iPod docking, WiFi, flat screen TVs and wonderful views of farmland or the Sussex Downs. Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy bathrobes all come as standard. Luxury toiletries, DVDs, books and games are also provided. Your dog will be also be provided with bowls, beds and biscuits to help them settle in!

The Royal Oak is perfectly positioned at the foot of the South Downs with fantastic opportunities for walking with your four-legged friend. The South Downs Way, which stretches for more than 100 miles between Winchester and Eastbourne, passes just a few miles north of the inn. The coast, including Wittering Beach and Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are also close by. History and culture buffs should head to nearby Chichester, an ancient Roman city which is home to one of Britain's most glorious cathedrals and the world-class Chichester Festival Theatre.
