Manchester has plenty of dog walking routes and parks on the doorstep including Clayton Vale - a local nature reserve - perfect for a riverside or woodland walk with your best furry friend and Clifton Country Park which has 120 acres of meadows, woods and lakeside walks. Dovestone Reservoir which is slightly out of town and part of the Peak District National Park is certainly worth visiting with its stunning views and a variety of footpaths for you and your dog to explore. You could also visit Platt Fields Park and Heaton Park which has over 600 acres of gorgeous parkland for long walks in the city. There are also plenty of dog-friendly bars, cafes and restaurants close by including Wilson’s Social and Corner Boy.
