About this property

Offering a peaceful retreat on the North Wales coast, Shamrock Cottage is a wonderful hidden gem, located away from the hustle-and-bustle whilst remaining within reach of a plethora of activities. Whether you're a family of four looking for a seaside adventure or two couples enjoying a coastal break to wind down, this property offers a beautiful interior to return to each stay. Experience a relaxing evening within the sitting room which rests at the front of the house, offering you a first glimpse of the tranquil grey, blue and white colour palette that runs throughout the property, echoing the waters not far away; watch a film on the Smart TV, settle on the sofa with a book, or simply enjoy a conversation together with a glass of wine while the woodburning stove roars in the background. Gather in the morning around the table in the dining room, home to delightful decor and a marvellous, antique cabinet, and discuss over breakfast where you want to visit during the day ahead. Drenched in natural light from the opaque roof, the kitchen is a serene spot where you can cook up a treat making use of the array of quality appliances, including an electric oven, gas hob and fridge/freezer, among the rest, with a breakfast bar to perch at while the food simmers. Delight in some alfresco dining in the enclosed courtyard in summer when the weather is on your side and let the dogs stretch their legs. Completing the ground floor is the lovely bathroom, where a bath with a shower over offers a wonderful place to freshen up each day. Travel upstairs to find the two spacious, pretty bedrooms, both enjoying a light, bright interior with rustic wooden floorboards; choose from either the king bedroom, or the twin room, with the latter able to become a king-size bedroom on request thanks to its zip/link feature, accommodating for different party types. Head into Deganwy and sample the variety of individual cafés, pubs and bars offering the perfect pit-stops between activities, before going down to Deganwy Beach which is completely dog-friendly all year and begin a walk along the Wales Coast Path leading to the Great Orme. Visit Conwy Castle in all its 13th-century glory, marvel at The Smallest House In Great Britain, or take a boat ride along the River Conwy, or towards the Menai Strait. Llandudno boasts many beautiful attractions like its elegant Victorian pier lined with novelties and seaside fun, find Happy Valley Botanical Gardens, the Llandudno Ski and Snowboard Centre and so much more. Shamrock Cottage provides a fabulous base for a North Wales adventure.
