There are lots of walks from the door including Thames path walks in both directions and walks up into Wallingford. Wallingford is a dog-friendly town with a weekly market on Fridays and dog-welcoming cafes. You can walk from Wallingford Bridge on the Castle Moat loop - a lovely easy trail. Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park are about 50 minutes away and there is a lovely 17k national trail from Shillingford to Abingdon which meanders through the Oxfordshire countryside or walk along a short part of this walk.
