With origins dating back to the 16th century the main Farmhouse and adjoining stone barns have been transformed into a high-end self-catering complex offering contemporary stylish interiors, a bespoke eco heating system, superfast broadband and a Spa Room. At the heart of this fabulous complex is The Farmhouse which boasts a 35ft kitchen/living area with a high-end bespoke kitchen, including a huge granite-surface island and limestone flooring. The feature wall-to-wall windows offer fabulous views across the hillside with patio doors leading out onto a large terrace, ideal for BBQ’s and outdoor entertaining. Adjoining the Farmhouse are 4 cottages beautifully converted from former stone barns which offer additional living spaces, ideal for large groups. The 5 properties adjoin one another in a delightful courtyard setting with spectacular uninterrupted views across the valley and enclosed walled gardens to the rear. Within the complex there are 4 ground floor bedrooms with level access, one ground floor wet room and 3 ground floor shower rooms. Most of the bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and there are a number of family bedrooms which make it ideal for bringing your little ones along. A large boot room provides excellent drying facilities for outdoor gear. Street Farm is situated just a 5 minute walk from the Pennine Bridleway National Trail which winds its way to the top of Wild Boar Fell, a peak of over 2000ft, from where you can enjoy views across Lakeland Fells and visit a secret lake. Free route maps are provided by the owners, covering a variety of routes in the Howgills, Nine Standards and Great Asby Nature Reserve.
