Wander through the town where you will find a charming selection of independent shops, leisure facilities and the Brindley Water Mill Museum where you can brush up history in the fascinating setting of a mid-18th-ventury restored and working mill. The Manifold and Dove Valleys and Tissington Trail offer beautiful scenery for those looking for walking and cycling trails, and the spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell, plus Alton Towers are also all within easy reach.
