Ruthwaite dates back to the 1600's and is within easy access to the market town of Keswick, also a mile away you will find a warm welcome in the nearby village pubs of Ireby and Uldale, where they serve good food in the evenings.

Located to the north of Keswick, Ireby is located in a peaceful rural area of the northern Lake District. Nearby will find you Bassenthwaite Lake, the perfect place to wander and explore the beautiful scenery. Cockermouth and Keswick are both nearby towns with plenty of shops and restaurants to offer. Ireby is set in a tranquil area, ideal for those looking to getaway at any time of year.
