Archiestown is a village located in Morayshire, north of the River Spey. In the centre is a tree-lined square, a conservation area, and the Archiestown Hotel. Archiestown is well-kept and friendly, it has won the Moray village in bloom. The village has a shop, Post Office and craft shops, while the hotel has a pub and restaurant. Archiestown is on the Malt Whisky Trail, with the Macallan Distillery to the east and the Cardhu Distillery to the west. In the heart of Speyside, Archiestown is a location for touring the area. Aberlour is famous for its distillery and the Walkers Shortbread factory, and is a great location for some fishing too!
