The White Swan Inn is a three-star dog-friendly inn located in the charming market town of Pickering – the ‘Gateway to the Moors’. A former 16th century coaching inn, The White Swan makes a wonderful, luxury rural base for exploring North Yorkshire with its cosy corners, sink into sofas, log fires and sumptuous interiors. It’s the perfect place for you and Fido to put your feet (and paws) up after a day exploring the Moors. Friendly and informal, The White Swan also serves fabulous food and provides great rooms for both dogs and humans.

The White Swan is passionate about food, so much so that their restaurant has earned two AA rosettes. Their ethos is clear; simple goodness from fresh ingredients that are sourced in-season, properly cooked and presented. Yorkshire is the pantry of England! Their menus change daily depending on the season so there will always be something new and delicious to try. Four-legged friends can dine with you in the bar area or snug, and there are also private dining rooms available too.

All the bedrooms at The White Swan are unbelievably comfortable. Each room has its own theme with the comfiest beds, the finest bed linen, plump cushions and carefully chosen furniture. The bathrooms are sparkling and white with deep baths and big shower heads, a selection of luxurious Bath House toiletries and fluffy bath robes. All the rooms also have a flat screen TV with freely available DVDS, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities.
