All 27 of The Ickworth’s bedrooms are dog-friendly. All have been beautifully decorated and will easily accommodate couples or larger families. If you’re seeking space and privacy, then The Lodge at Ickworth which houses 11 one, two and three bedroom apartments is the perfect option. Only a short walk or cycle from the main hotel, the apartments sit in their own four-acre gardens and can be used for events.

Cosy Rooms

A traditionally elegant option for couples, the Cosy Rooms are located in the atmospheric Ickworth House. Offering classic luxury to modern standards, these rooms have period furnishings, an en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. If you’re staying as a couple, add some romantic extras by choosing wine, flowers or chocolates for your room.

Classic Rooms

Perfectly sized for small families, or for couples who’d like a little more space, these Classic Rooms sleep two adults with space for an extra bed or cot. There are traditional and contemporary options to choose from, each in the main house and offering views over the Italianate Gardens or 1,800-acre estate. If you’re staying with a child, your room will be equipped with all the essentials, such as a changing mat, bottle steriliser or potty. Once children’s dinners and bedtimes are taken care of, set-up a baby monitor (available at Reception) so you can enjoy a grown-up dinner date; safe in the knowledge that you can monitor your own children and you’ll know if anyone wakes.

Attic Rooms

With a range of traditional and contemporary rooms, the Attic Rooms offer a cosy space on the top floor of the hotel. Butler's Quarters

Enjoy all the facilities of The Ickworth from your very own residence on the estate. Just a short walk from the hotel, up a flight of stairs, the Butler’s Quarters include a living area, small kitchenette and a private walled garden (also accessed by a flight of stairs). Located in the stable yard (100m away from the hotel), this three-bedroom retreat sleeps up to eight and contains a family bathroom, lounge and dining area, and a small kitchenette. Enjoy the luxury of your own private garden (accessed through a flight of steps), along with reserved parking spaces for easy access.
