About this property
This spacious, detached, well-furnished cottage, is set in a quiet, older part of Waterville, a village dramatically set between sandy beaches, lakes and mountains. Walk to the nearby Cable House Restaurant in one of the original old buildings, or to Waterville centre (400 yards) for a stroll on the promenade or visit its shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and beach. Enjoy trout fishing on Lough Currane, hill walking in the mountains or golf on one of several courses (two in Waterville, one a renowned championship course). There is an annual Charlie Chaplin Festival celebrating the actor who regularly holidayed in Waterville. A short drive to Derrynane Beach and National Park (7 miles) offers more opportunities for watersports and horse riding. Shops and pubs 500 yards, restaurant 50 yards.
