Overview

A small charming family run hotel which is super dog-friendly situated in the Market Place of Middleham near Leyham in Wensleydale and ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely dog-welcoming atmosphere - the owners have two dogs of their own a cocker spaniel called Bobby and a Border Cross called Bunty. The town itself is a horse racing centre and this is reflected in the design of the hotel and Middleham Castle is also within view of the hotel. Growing up in France, Chef-Patron Charles is passionate about food and hospitality. He worked in some impressive hotels in France, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong and Malaysia as well as the UK, not forgetting Yorkshire, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. His wife, Fiona accompanied him on the journey that brought the family back to her home county, being a Yorkshire Lass! Fiona also worked in hotels and then wine & spirits.
