About this property

Taken over by the owners of the Moonraker Hotel, dog-friendly The White Hart Hotel is a 15th-century Tudor-style property that has been transformed into a fabulous dog-welcoming destination. The White Hart Hotel is centrally located in Wells, just 10 short steps from the famous cathedral in the heart of England’s smallest city, it boasts a glorious little dining room and cosy bedrooms. It’s the perfect base for you and your pet to explore the Somerset countryside as well as Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge and The Bath & West Showground.

Dine with Your Dog

You may dine with your dog in the lounge bar or should you wish to leave your pet in the room you may dine in the Sadler’s Brasserie. Run by Matthew Briddon, who previously worked at celebrity chef’s Paul Heathcote’s restaurant, Sadler’s serves seasonal old-fashioned classics cooked with passion including shepherd’s pie, home smoked salmon, fish and chips, and steak frites.

Bow wow factor

Resident dog Camber will help new arrivals settle in. For a quick stroll, walk your dog in the green opposite the hotel.
