About this property

The oldest building on the estate, dog-friendly The Farmhouse in Suffolk is now a beautifully restored holiday homestead for pets and their owners. Looking like something out of a fairy-tale book with its exposed beams and quaint thatched roof, The Farmhouse is the perfect place for lazing around with friends, family and four-legged friends. Despite its name, Wilderness Reserve is less rough country and more Downton Abbey! Set within a 5,000-acre estate of rolling parklands, woodlands, lakes and landscaped gardens, this is the ultimate dog-friendly retreat for those looking to disappear for a weekend.

Dine with Your Dog

A self-catering property, the open plan kitchen has all the mod-cons you’ll need and you can prearrange to have the cupboards and fridge fully stocked for your arrival (at an extra cost). If you don’t fancy cooking – then you can hire the resident chef to come and cook some delicious fare for you. If you do want to venture out, there are a number of dog-friendly pubs, including The King’s Head in Yoxford and The Bell in Saxmundham. And if you find somewhere that is not so pet-welcoming, your furry friend can be left in the property unattended.

Bow wow factor

Has to be its fantastic setting! Canine companions will love roaming the 5,000-acre estate – off lead!
