The White Hart, Swindon

Located in the heart of picturesque Wroughton, the dog-friendly White Hart is a beautiful thatched Wiltshire pub with oodles of charm and a large beer garden. Their delicious seasonal menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients and includes hearty pub classics and a terrific roast on Sundays. Behind the bar there is a selection of award winning Butcombe beer. There’s a 6.5 mile circular walk from the door and the Ridgeway offers a number of tried and tested circular routes passing through gorgeous villages.

The Potting Shed, Crudwell

Situated in the beautiful Cotswold triangle of Tetbury, Malmesbury and Cirencester, The Potting Shed in the village of Crudwell is a perfect starting point or end stop for canine explorers and their owners. Exceptionally dog-friendly, four-legged friends can eat with you anywhere in the pub. However, with yummy dog biscuits at the bar, your pet will probably want to stay close by! The menu changes monthly but you can always be sure of fresh produce; the pub has two acres of gardens given over to a mixture of trees, lawns and The Potting Shed’s very own vegetable patch.

The Methuen Arms, Corsham

 Located in the heart of picturesque Corsham the dog-friendly Methuen Arms is a charming Georgian coaching inn serving award-winning food and delicious Butcombe beer on tap. With bags of character, this cosy dog-friendly country pub is set immediately beside the stately home and beautiful grounds of Corsham Court where you can walk your dog. Pub favourites include the Butcombe Gold beer-battered fish and Tarragon gnocchi with asparagus.

The King John Inn, Salisbury

Nestled inside the breathtaking Cranborne Chase on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset, The King John Inn is a true British country pub and is super dog-friendly.  A recently restored 17th century Coaching Inn, nestled  south of the Pewsey Vale in the Avon Valley and close to Stonehenge, the dog-friendly Dog and Gun in Netheravon is a thriving village pub popular with locals and their dogs. On the menu you will find a mixture of small plates, handmade pies and there’s a traditional pizza oven too. The offering at The Dog and Gun is cosy, relaxed and informal – super dog-friendly it also does an excellent Sunday roast.
