Looking forward to coming back
We had 4 nights at the Atholl Palace after a very stressful 4 months.
We couldn't have chosen better. We had a beautiful room with a huge comfy bed. The shower room was great with lovely toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean.
We had DBB. Breakfast had a great selection in the buffet to mix and match with other choices available to order. One of the highlights for me was the porridge. Proper porridge. Not wallpaper paste or awful lumps. Perfect every morning.
The dinner menu changed daily. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were busy with big parties in the other room but we were never neglected. Everyo e was so professional.
The hotel grounds are huge, 50 acres. Plenty of walks around there. The pitch and putt is a good walk away but the putting is just at the front. Enjoy the lumps and lumps as a challenge.
We had never stayed here before but we will definitely come back as so many other guests do. We were the newbies!
The Atholl Palace gave us a lovely relaxing stay. Of course the accommodation, the food and the setting all contributed but every member of staff we met made our stay so special with their welcoming professionalism. We done everybody!

The stay was excellent. It was good to be able to roam through the hotel at leisure and wander in the grounds. The setting was beautiful.
The menu in the bar was much more varied than that in the dining room so it would have been nice to have had this in the dining room too.
The room was very warm despite the window being wide open. It was however a warm day so it may have been difficult to do anything about this.
The staff were very helpful at all times.
Stay at Atholl Palace
The hotel had an air of being in a time warp. However, the service was excellent - both friendly and efficient. The food was very good.
