Pleasant stay
We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. Personally the bath in the bedroom was not to our taste and would have preferred two chairs to admire the sea view. The wet room was small and made everywhere dripping after using the shower and had to dry areas to use the toilet. The room was well equipped. Breakfast and service were excellent. The hotel was conveniently situated with bus stops outside as we arrived by public transport.

Finding parking in Brighton can be a challenge, but they have 14 parking spaces next door to the hotel, exclusively for our guests. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of £25 per night. On arrival, please ask at Reception about parking availability, and if the y have space, they will issue a parking permit. In the event that all our parking spaces are occupied, there is on-street parking nearby without any time restrictions. The on-street parking rates are from £2.40 per hour between 09:00 and 20:00, and overnight parking is free of charge.
How to get here
From the A23, follow the signs along London Road towards the seafront. As you approach the Brighton Pier roundabout, make a left turn into Marine Parade. Continue along Marine Parade for approximately 300 meters, and just before reaching the first set of traffic lights, you'll find Drakes. You can tell it's us by our distinctive red paved forecourt.
