Bow Wow Factor
Set in nine acres of parkland with spectacular views over the Moray Firth, this is the ideal hotel for you and your pooch to have a enjoyable and relaxing break.
The Drumossie hotel in Inverness has introduced a brand new menu catering to every dog's needs. The menu was inspired by the Drumossie's general managers dog, Ben. He said: "I think it is important to value our guest and their four-legged friends which should receive the same treatments and hospitality. The menu offers a range of food choices, from a simple pup-cup all the way to a sirloin steak. There is also a range of delicious savoury options available too. Starting with scrambled eggs and premium pork sausages, to grilled chicken strips with a white rice, bacon sizzlers and the Drumossie quarter pounder. Ben's menu is also available as part of the room service and pick nick to go package, so your dog can be catered at any time or place.
They have floor designated for dogs, with different room types available, ready and waiting for you and your pooch. They do not provide beds or bowls so please remember to bring yours.
Dine with Your Dog
Dogs are more than welcome to dine in the lounge area with their owners (including breakfast). They serve drinks in the lounge also in the evening. The Restaurant Menu is available in the lounge.

Confusingly mixed.
Let me start with the positives. Good parking and a nice welcome. The receptionist was efficient and helpful. The deal (bed, breakfast, meal, whisky and shortbread) appeared good. The hotel looked ok, although signs of wear and tear on the outside, such as lapsed signage.
The room was large and bed comfy, but very cold, with old electric heaters to warm it, which gave off an odour when used.
The water to the shower switched from hot to cold without warning, and the taps fell off, making that an unpleasant experience.
When we tried to report the shower to reception, the staff walked away without a word.
The restaurant provided more issues. Bottled water and white wine were both served unchilled. The batter on the fish was undercooked. The staff did not appear to understand the quite limited menu, or the deal, confusing Tattinger and Tanqueray at one stage. For breakfast, fresh orange juice was actually past it's sell-by date, smelling fermented.
A large issue throughout was the fact that fire doors were propped open; an obvious risk.
On leaving, we were asked how our stay was, but when it was stated that there were issues, received no apology or query as to what had happened. This has been progressed since.
All in all, very disappointing and would not stay again.
Always good
