Very welcoming
Stayed over for a couples night away. Room was excellent the evening meal and breakfast were top notch and the surrounding grounds absolutely gorgeous
Fine for an overnight stay while travelling
Probably a once grand country house hotel, but it is now quite dated and enclosed by housing. The staff were very willing and pleasant but the whole atmosphere is of a business that isn t managing to keep up with the hotel and restaurant trade in 2024. The food in the restaurant was really quite funny. Extravagant descriptions in the menu but looked and tasted like caterers packs heated and opened onto a plate. No chef involved, I suspect. However, the full breakfast was great.
